The Rumor Is True

Whole Foods to open new store on Hennepin Ave. This will make for two spiffy grocery stores within a mile from me. I may never have to go to Roundys again.

The article doesn't give a projected opening date, but I know that the Lunds is not scheduled to be open until November of 2006. It's a wait...

More Neighborhood Development

The Strib had another article about another condo development in the neighborhood today, even though they called it "Northeast."

Eight stories & 150 units. Unlike most of the developments so far, I can actually see this one from my house. (The location is between Banks & City Salvage, if'n you know where that is.) It makes me wonder if we'll even recognize our neighborhood in 15 years.

All this development increases the likelihood that we'll get a bookstore and decreases the likelihood that we'll get a porn store. Oh well.
