You only hate the ones you love
I used to consider myself to be multi-platform. I can still plug my way through a Windows system, but by and large I prefer Macs now. (Yes, Tim and I have a mixed marriage.)
Which is not to say that there aren't problems. Such as the case of the missing bookmarks yesterday. I came in to work after being gone on vacation a couple of days and I had no bookmarks. While this is a tad annoying to remember and type in the endless dumb stuff I surf to every day (like this site) it's also really annoying to know that all the carefully researched articles, tips, and client statistics pages are gone.
But wait! I remembered last night that I'd signed up for a free .mac trial and I should be able to just sync up and get all my bookmarks back, right? Wrong. Apparently, .mac doesn't work like say, PalmOS, where it's smart enough to figure out that sometimes you want to restore. Now my .mac account doesn't have any bookmarks either.
I'm sure if I were to call Apple and bitch they'd say so sorry, upgrade to the new OS, have a nice day.
Sassle Frassle Passle. Oh well.
