Eastgate Mall to be demolished

Eastgate Shopping Center will be demolished and replaced by a mixed use center including retail space, covered parking and condominiums. The anchor tenant will be a full service Lunds store similar in size and range of services to the store in Uptown.

Plans will be unveiled at the Nicollet Island East Bank Neighborhood Association meeting next week on Wed Oct 13 at 222 Event Center, 221 1st Ave NE and again on Thursday Oct 14 5:30 - 7 pm at Mill City Museum, Mill Commons Room.
