Technically, the Minneapolis Farmer's Market opened on April 24th, but this is the first day that I'll be visiting the Nicollet Mall version. Support your local farmers -- know what's in season and what's been shipped in. Buy from the stands that have all scallions one week and all leeks the next. Otherwise, you might as well go to Steve's Discount Foods.
